It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Belle Schambach of Elgin, Illinois, born in Carthage, New York, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Schambach; her grandson Jacob Schambach; and her great grandchild Jabez Schambach. She is survived by: her children, Robert Schambach (Jeanne) of Pheonix, AZ, Joyce Schifferer of Elgin, IL, William Schambach (Josey) of Chetek, WI, Elaine Gudeman of Grand Prairie, TX and Mary Jane Gladwin (Lance); and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Schambach (Nancy) of St. Louis, MO and Gertrude Sauder (Roger) of Elgin, IL. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
