Adkerson Jr. of Elgin, Illinois, born in Holcomb, Missouri, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Adkerson, and Ollie Adkerson, Sr. (Mikel); and his siblings, Dale Gene Adkerson and Robin Winters. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his family, Angela Corbett, Sr. (Thomas), Erika Krull (Daniel), Charles E. Adkerson III, Samantha Carrano (Vincent), Jason Berango (Caitlyn Eddy) and Shawn Adkerson; and his siblings, Danny Stewart (Gail), Gary Adkerson and Linda Evert. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

IN lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior.
