It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Celestian Alfaro of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elena Ballines and Maurilio Ballines; and her brothers, Jose Luis Ballines and Jose A. Ballines. She is survived by: her husband Ruben S. Alfaro; her children, Ruben Alfaro Jr., Josefina Chavez (Juan), Michael Alfaro, Alejandro Alfaro (Karla) and Magdelene Alfaro; and her grandchildren, Sophia, Nicholas, Josephine Chavez, Sofia Jimenez, Alexander, Axel, Liliana and Maximus Alfaro. She is also survived by her four brothers and six sisters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Laurence Church (225 Jewett St, Elgin, IL 60123).
