With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara D Kasper of Elgin, Illinois, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Groggel and Melita Erbes Groggel; her daughters, Kathleen Slown (Mark) of Ishpeming, MI and Sharon Adams (Bert) of Hoffman Estates; her grandchildren, Corin Gallagher (Jake), Sam Slown (Kristin), Karmen Slown and Bethany Aksterowicz (Justin); her great grandchildren, Lily, Braden Slown and Gaige Aksterowicz; her husband Dr. Robert E. Kasper; and her brother Clarence Groggel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Elgin or the charity of ones choice.
