He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hein and Gertrude Hein (Ahrens); his parents-in-law, John Poyer and Helen Poyer; his sister Judith Gehrs (Hein); his daughter Lisa Richert; and his niece Kelli Gaetz (Gehrs).
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hein (Poyer); his children, Jenny (Hein), Claudy (Jim), Amy Cotter (Hein), Lonna (Richert) and Andy Hein (Jen); his grandchildren, Jeremy Rehberg, Josh Rehberg (Dani), Danny Cotter, Luke Zwerenz, Clayton Tingle, Jessica (Rehberg), DeLeon (Jorge), Olivia, Isla Hein and Lexie Sosa Zwerenz (Christian); his great grandchildren, Jayden, Izzy, Jacob DeLeon, Gabe, Kane Rehberg, Jaxson Zwerenz and Gianna Sosa Zwerenz; his nephew Brad Gehrs (Mary Anne); and his niece Mindy (Gehrs) Beaver (Heath). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in his name to the church.
