It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin T. Burns Jr. of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin T. Burns Sr. and Patricia Hargis Burns. He is survived by: his children, Amber Wolford (John), Allen Burns (Katie), Alex Burns, Adam Burns and Anne Asher (James); his grandchildren, Avery, Alvin, Alijah, Alice, Danika, Ayden, Faith, Nathan, Lance and Summer; and his siblings, Cheryl Schaefer (John), Jamie Smithey, Tessa Smithey, Theresa Burns and Tommy Burns (Darcy Roche). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
