Steele (Elgin, Illinois), born in Leighton, Alabama, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Trumie D. Cobbs and Osie Ola Cobbs. She is survived by: her siblings, Jewel Cobb, Belvia E. Cobbs and Charlene Freeman; her siblings-in-law, Franklin Freeman and Annie Mae Cobb; her children, Robbin Michelle Steele, Ronald Jerome Steele and Jennifer Michelle Jennings; her grandchildren, Melissa J. White (Steele), Jordan Michael Davidson, William James Perry, Marquita Gale Perry and Isaiah Cameron Steele; her great grandchildren, Jaiden Davidson, Corey Crenshaw Jr., Jayda Davidson, Jhene Davidson and J'adore Davidson; her siblings, Doris Flint, Trumie D. Cobbs Jr., Jessie Cobb and Lestine Belew; her husband James H. Steele; her granddaughter Brianna D. Steele; and her nieces and nephews, Denorris Smith, Jordan Cobb, Faith Charnese Freeman and Karen Elaine Cobb. She is also survived by beautiful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
