We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2023, at the age of 71, Gregory Thomas Brannan of Eldred, Illinois, born in Carrollton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James T. Brannan; his grandparents, Kenneth, Opal Brannan, Ralph and Ruby Oettle; his aunt Francy Gangwish; his uncle Max Brannan; his brothers-in-law, Tom Camerer and Charles Barnett; his stepfather Leo Cleveland; his father-in-law Robert McGlasson; his sister-in-law Gloria McGlasson; and his nephew Bryan McGlasson.

He is survived by: his mother Eva Lou Oettle Brannan of Carrollton; his wife Penny McGlasson; his children, Adam Brannan (Amanda) of Eldred and Ashley Ackles (Josh) of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Madeline Jo, Cash James Brannan, Ruby and Cadence Ackles; his siblings, Dan Brannan (Cheryl) of Gillette, WY and Jerri Lou Camerer of Carrollton; his nieces and nephews, Coty Camerer, Colby Camerer (Maura), Dylan Brannan, Kenzie Brannan, Gage Cates, Steve Barnett (Brandy), Bob Barnett, Matthew McGlasson and Christian McGlasson; his siblings-in-law, Sue Barnett, Mark and Alan McGlasson; his mother-in-law Bonnie McGlasson; his aunt Betty Brannan; and his uncle Clifford Gangwish.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Eldred American Legion Auxiliary or 5A's Animal Rescue in Alton.
