It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles V. Varble of Eldred, Illinois, born in Carrollton, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Varble and Bessie Ray Varble. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Lou Hurt; his children, Shawn Varble of Eldred and Geanna Varble of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Allison Frye (Ethan), Brant, Cameryn, Jude Varble, Lydia and Olivia Rainey; his great grandchild Collins Frye; and his sisters, Melody Arnold of Blue Mound and Holly Blumenberg (Lyndell) of Eldred. He is also survived by three nieces.
