He is survived by: his wife Belva Lue Cantrell; his children, Jennifer Dolden of Eldorado, Jeremy Walters (Christine) of Eldorado, Steven Summers of Eldorado, Jessica Jackson Brown (Darrin) of Eldorado, James Lester (Melissa) of Ohio, Max Walters of Eldorado and Casey Walters (Arianna) of Eldorado; his grandchildren, Cody McGill of Eldorado, Britni Minor (Dylon) of Eldorado, Taylor Griffith (Faith Meister) of Eldorado, Makana Reid of Eldorado, Lucy Walters of Nashville, IL, Jackson Walters of Eldorado, Jeremiah Walters of Eldorado, Josselyn Walters of Eldorado, Avery Walters of Eldorado, Zackkory Summers of Eldorado, Gage Summers of Eldorado, Maci Summers of Eldorado, Tyler Lester of Ohio, Maylee Lester of Ohio, Alysha McGowan (Dakota) of Eldorado, Paxton Walters and Kamryn Walters; and his great grandchildren, Carsyn McGill of Galatia, Easton Rector of Harrisburg, Brantley Williams of Florida, Addison Minor of Eldorado, Corvin Minor of Eldorado, Callie McGill, Kelsey Jimenez of Mt. Vernon, Gracie Jimenez of Mt. Vernon, Brody McGowen, Lawson McGowen and Kolton McGowen.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home & Crematory (700 4th St, Eldorado, IL 62930). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
