He is survived by: his children, Shelli Newton Edwards, Philip Ray Newton II, Chad Eric Newton, Ben Newton, Kristina Newton and Jeremy Stuby; his grandchildren, Darah Edwards Cummins (Tyler), Madison Newton, Gage Newton, Isaac Newton, Phenelope Newton, Brockton Mitchell, Ashley Stuby, Jacob Stuby and Andrea Stuby; and his great grandchildren, Dawson Bowman, Cayson Cummins and Easton Cummins.
