As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dean and Geraldine Holland (Whistle); and his half-sister Sondra Gates. He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Rider; his son Mat Holland (Shelby R. Fricker) of Raleigh; his brother-in-law Richard Gates of Muddy; and his nephew Carl Gollihur (Pam).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home & Crematory (700 4th St, Eldorado, IL 62930).
