He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. C. Phelps and Yutha Phelps (Little); his wife Sharon Phelps (Miller); his sons, J. D. Phelps (Erica) of Spring Creek, NV and Jeff Phelps (Cliffie) of Eldorado, IL; his grandchildren, Christine Walters (Jeremy), Sheena Ricaporte (Ryan), Alicia DeGraw (Joe), Kiana Phelps (Derrick Penrod), Weston, Charly, Kileah Lowery, Katelyn, Callie Baker and Louisana; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Ezra, Oliver Burtis, Alana Blair (Jerrett), Chloe, Anna, Leah, Wesley Ricaporte, Taylor Mahon (Zach), Calvin, Stryker, Ruger, Paisley, Kane and Ellis; and his sisters, Brenda Carter (Danny) of Wisconsin and Vicki Metten of North Carolina. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
