She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Elder and Zoa Alvey Elder; her husband Bobby Gene "Bugs" McCoy; and her siblings, J. L. Elder, Vernell Elder, William Elder, Loretta Baird and Bernida Bond.
She is survived by: her son Wesley McCoy (Sandy) of Raleigh; her stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Maloney of Raleigh, IL and Jennifer Maloney of St. Louis, MO; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dr. Camryn Gowan (Jacob) of Orlando, FL and Carter Maloney of Christopher, IL.; and her siblings, Donald Elder (Marcella) of Pevely, MO and Naomi Mathis (Donald) of Stonefort, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
