With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerry Givens of Eldorado, Illinois, born in Fairfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald W. Hooper and Edna Hooper (Clevenger); and her brother-in-law Melvin Maricle. She is survived by: her children, Kim Deal (Randy) of Galatia and Tim Givens (Wendy) of Port Orange; her grandchildren, Ashlea Deal, Matt Deal of Galatia, Lee Givens (Taylor) of Vienna, Phil Givens (Denise) of Ridgway and Linley Hopson (Mark) of Omaha; her great grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan, Ethan, Cooper, Piper, Cade and Josie; her siblings, Evadene Maricle of Fairfield and Ronnie Hooper (Donna) of Eldorado; and her nephews, Clint Hooper (Autumn) and Greg Willis (Kim).
Social distancing and face masks will be required while inside the funeral home.
In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Closet of Second Blessings or the Star Church Building Fund and both will be accepted at the funeral home.
