With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erik Griffith of Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dennis Griffith and Amber Griffith (Smith) of Eldorado, IL; his grandmother Shirley Smith of Fudgetown, IL; his sister Angela Holderfield (William) of Granite City, IL; his uncle Joseph Griffith (Cheryl) of Herrin, IL; his aunt Brenda Griffith of Herrin, IL.; his cousin Melissa; his aunt Jan Griffith of Carterville, IL.; his cousins, Dax and Dara; his half-brother Jeremy Smith; his grandparents, Rev. Joseph Franklin Griffith, Sr., Gladys Griffith and Paul Smith; and his uncles, James Griffith, Richard Griffith and Gerald Griffith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (201 E Main St, Norris City, IL 62869). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pets At Risk or to a local food pantry, and will be accepted at Campbell funeral Home in Norris City.
