She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Gibson and Sethelle Gibson; her sister Helen; and her grandson Nick Heid. She is survived by: her spouse Rev. Russell Helton; her children, Mike Helton (Valery) of Goreville, IL, Bill Helton (Bill) of Chicago, IL and Angelene Heid (Vernon) of Cape Girardeau, MO; her grandchildren, Taryn Meek (Andrew), Chance Heid (Kaleigh), Lexus Heid, Torri Heid, Brylee Heid, Davis Helton (Amanda) and Jillian Helton; her great grandchildren, Blaine Helton of Noel Meek, Ala Meek, Micah Meek, Riah Meek and Parker Meek; her stepgrandchildren, Logan Alexander, Ethan Alexander and Megan Mitchell (Hieronymus); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Marion Mitchell, Ronnie Mitchell, Joanna Mitchell and Sylvia Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home & Crematory (700 4th St, Eldorado, IL 62930). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or The College Heights Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website http://www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com.
