Cynthia Jo Carney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Jo Carney of Eldorado, Illinois, born in Harrisburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice L., Sr. and Patricia Jo Peek (McFarland); her husband Franklin D. Carney; and her brothers, John Peek, Martin Peek and Bill Peek.
She is survived by: her children, Justin Carney of Eldorado and Tanya Williams of Eldorado; her brothers, Maurice L. Peek, Jr. of Eldorado and David B. Peek of Eldorado; her half-siblings, Amos Peek of Indiana, Karen Mattingley of Eldorado, Tammy Oliver (Bob) and Phyllis Folly; and her grandson Kurt Carney of Eldorado. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
