It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl E. Mayberry of Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Mayberry and Aileen Mayberry (Brown); his wife Norma Watson Mayberry; and his stepson Charles "Mike" Dodd. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Ann Ashby (Bill) of Eldorado and Linda Kay Hardy of Ina; his grandchildren, Charles Wayne Michel (Amy), Laura Ann Hedrick and Tonya Hardy; his great grandchildren, Kristina Hedrick, Kyle Hedrick, Josh Hedrick, Melissa Nurrenbern (Josh) and Allison Short (Dakota); and his great great grandchild Owen Nurrenbern.
