Agnes Mae Edwards Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Agnes Mae Edwards of Eldorado, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Lichtenberger and Ruth Lichtenberger (Boyd); her husband Carl Wayne Edwards; and her sisters, Ruby McClusky and Martha Faye Lictenberger.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Miller (Dale, family: Jason Farmer, Emilie Burnett, Josh Farmer, Sydney Farmer, Jill Mattingly, Reagan, Lincoln Mattingly, Jon Farmer, Hannah, Hayden, Jett, Jarrah Farmer) of Eldorado, Dale Edwards (family: Eme Basinger, Canon Weatherly, Lyra Basinger, Jeff Edwards, Alex Edwards, Ethan Edwards) of Eldorado and Harry Edwards of Marion; her grandson Allan Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Callahan, Kentlee and Magdalene.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vickery Funeral Chapel (602 E Edwards St, Ridgway, IL 62979). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in Agnes's memory may be made to the College Heights Baptist Church or to the Old Cottonwood Cemetery.
