With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William C. Grabarek (Elburn, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Grabarek and Edith Grabarek; his former wife Ivanka Grabarek; his siblings, Tom Grabarek (Marge) and Elaine Kalaynik (Ken); his nephews, Mark Kalaynik and Dennis Powell; and his daughter-in-law Molly.
He is survived by: his significant other Ivanka Stevanovich; his children, Scott Grabarek of La Pointe, WI, Svea Bylsma (Nathan) of Elburn, Heidi Campbell (Kevin Kopp) of Boscobel, WI, Paul Grabarek (Agnes) of Waxhaw, NC and Grant Vruels of Mount Prospect, IL; his grandchildren, Arielle Nichols, Reilly Campbell, Sam Campbell, Keegan Campbell, Gia Campbell, Arthur Patrick, Corinne Vruels, Sydney Kopp and Noble Grabarek; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Jake and Abby Bylsma; his great grandchildren, Gentry, Killian, Ellie, Liam and Evvie; his cousin Will Graberek of Elburn; his nieces, Mickey Powell and Siri O'Sullivan (Denny); his nephew Tom Grabarek (Margie); and his caregivers, Jonathan, Mira and Jude.
