It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Mielnik of Elburn, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wesley Mielnik to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wlodzimierz Mielnik and Maria "Wanda" Mielnik; and his significant other Danuta Mielnik. He is survived by: his children, Jacek Mielnik and Edith Prestidge (Armand); his grandchildren, Aleksandra Janiuk (Michal), Zofia Prestidge, Aniela Prestidge and Anderson Prestidge; his great grandchild Jagna Janiuk; his sister Bozenna Terlecka (Andrzej); and his nieces, Jolanta Terlecka and Iwona Terlecka.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Wesley's name to benefit St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, Cosley Zoo and the many Kaneland Youth Sports programs that Wesley supported through attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
