He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Burge and Mildred Burge (Wilson); his son Lawrence Burge; and his stepson Leonard Wells. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Burge; his children, LaTanya Burge, Theresa Andrea Burge, Andrew Burge III, Eldred Burge, Mildred Annette Burge, Jerry Burge (Debbie) and Audrey Burge; his stepchild Reggie Wells; and his stepgrandchildren, Reggie Shermontt Wells, Taila Wells and Regina Griffee. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Andy's name.
