It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Svihla (Elburn, Illinois), born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Svihla and Beatrice Svihla; and his sister Leatrice Svihla. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Svihla; his brother Edward Svihla (Elinor); and his nieces, Evonne Lavigne (Scott) and Elaine Malone (Ed). He is also survived by three grandnephews, a grandniece, and a family of close friends.
