Quam of El Paso, Illinois, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Bohn and Verna Bohn (Matthiesen); and her brothers, Ramon and Dale. She is survived by: her husband Fred Quam; her daughter Shelly (Sherry); her children-in-law, Steve Haase, Michael Taylor and Christy (Thomas); and her grandchildren, Madeline (Zach), Sydney, Anna, Sabin, Laney, Caroline and Andrew.
For twenty years now, at Thanksgiving, Marilyn hosted the much-anticipated gingerbread house making extravaganza in her kitchen - even virtually during COVID.
