It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Marie Dehority of El Paso, Illinois, born in Lexington, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Bohlander and Helen Bohlander (Miles); her husband William "Bill" Dehority; and her brother Ben Bohlander. She is survived by: her children, Becky Gruen (Lawney) of Bloomington, Doug Dehority (Carla) of Forsyth, IL and Kim Duncan (Dave) of El Paso; her siblings, Patricia Kline, Terry Bohlander (Sandy), Jerry Bohlander (Polly) and Rick Bohlander (Cari); her grandchildren, Jared Dehority (Katie), Jennica Mahoney (Don), Paige Reinhart (Stephen), Derek Gruen, Alex, Brian and Brody Duncan; and her great grandchildren, Tenley, Harper, Kaylee, Hutton, Daylon, Collins and Mera Lynn.

Memorials may be made to Grace Fellowship Church.

“Our heart is so sad with the passing of your Beloved Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. I still remember the 1st day that Marilyn came to work at Illinois State University. Our family had a connection my grandparents lived by her mom and dad. I had never met her before, but we became fast friends. Many fun memories at Rambo House, seeing each other at lunchtime. Also came to know Kim at work, and Becky and Lawney were neighbors in Normal. Prayers and Love. Deb and Don Cruise”
