She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Therien and Mary Ruth Ferguson Therien; her husband Richard L. Metz; and her sister Sherry Killian. She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Sharrow (Sonya) of Converse, LA, Eric Sharrow (Katrina) of Lexington, IL, Ryan Sharrow (Kathe) of El Paso and Jason Sharrow (Stacey) of Clinton, IL; her brothers, Greg Therien (Barb) of Lexington, IL and Mark Therien (Karen) of Chenoa; and her close friend Renee Sisco. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
