He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen "Bud" and Esther Reeser Thompson; and his wife Mary Lou McGuire. He is survived by: his son Dan Thompson (Dorita) of El Paso; and his grandchildren, Michael Thompson (Carrie) of El Paso, Brian Thompson (Heather Jo) of Secor and Heather Reel (Adam) of Arcola. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Secor United Methodist Church.
