She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Richard and Edith Lois Mellert Smith; her husband Frank H. Hickok; her brother Jack; and her son-in-law Ron Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Bobbe Garness (Dale), Terre Lyons (George), William Hickok (Elizabeth), Caroline Nelson, Pegge Hall (Joe) and Jackson Hickok (Jean). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to El Paso Public Library.
