We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Agnes Rose (El Paso, Illinois), born in Metropolis, Illinois. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley S. Norton and Mary Elizabeth (Abner); her stepfather William B. Averitt Sr.; her husband Donald Wayne Rose; her daughters, Theresa Scheiber and Joyce Marie Brownlee; her grandsons, Luke Anthony Brownlee and Floyd Allen Brownlee; and her siblings, Stanley Norton, Albert Norton, William B. Averitt Jr., Gary Lee Averitt, Eva Mae Ensor and Katrina Lea.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Smith (Paul) of Lebannon, MO and Donald Rose (Cheryl) of El Paso, IL; her grandchildren, Joseph Buchanan, Tabitha Brownlee, David Smith, Angelica Campbell and Philip Smith; and her siblings, Jesse Ray Averitt of Metropolis, John Paul Averitt of Metropolis, Thomas Averitt, Mary Lucille Faulkner (Elry) of Vienna, IL and Carol Sue Watkins (Neal) of Vienna, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
