Agnes Garrels Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Garrels of El Paso, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Mintus and Alice Mintus (Obrakta); and her stepson Gary Garrels. She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbi James (Alfred) of El Paso and Nancy Garrels (David Woodburn) of Secor; her stepdaughters, Pam Garrels, Deb Garrels and Diane Harris; her grandchildren, LeTeshiya Witkowski (Chad) of El Paso, Jeremiah James of Secor and Ashley Toillion (Chris) of Secor; and her stepgranddaughter Andrea Wills.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude or St. Mary's Catholic Church in El Paso.
