He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna C. Schaefer (Leving) and William Francis Schaefer; his wife Karen Lynn Boggs (Tarrant); and his pet Sam. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Charity Ozenkoski (Troy) of Teutopolis and Jesse Boggs of Effingham; his grandchildren, Seth Russell, Kaleb Boggs, Madison Boggs, Brooke Ozenkoski, Lauren Ozenkoski and Derek Ozenkoski; and his great grandchild Emery Finfrock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Effingham Public Library.
