With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William T. Garrity of Effingham, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Garrity and Elnor Garrity (Kleeman); his wife Delores L. Frechette; his daughter Eileen C. Kretz; and his sister Gloria J. Garrity.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen L. Bone (Robert) of Effingham and Sandra L. Garrity of Terre Haute, IN; his son-in-law Carl Kretz of Cheyenne, WY; his grandchildren, Ross Doran (Holly), Candice Wilke (Ron), Robin Sheck (Dan), Lorriane Gezzi, Stephanie Irish (Zachary), Kayla Swindle (DJ), Kevin Kretz and Josh Kretz (Liz); and his siblings, Nancy Johnson (John) and Thomas Garrity. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
