It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William A. Dean Sr. in Effingham, Illinois, born in Sunflower, Mississippi, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Dean and Evie Dean (Martin); and his wife Beulah Lee Dean. He is survived by: his children, Donna Jones of Effingham, Diana Hollingsworth (Paul) of Joliet and William Dean Jr. (Lisa) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Ashli Jones Gher, Amanda Hollingsworth, William Dean III and James Dean; his great grandchildren, Owen Joe, Wyatt, Chase and Jax Gher; his sister Charlene Perry; and his brothers-in-law, Max Samples (Carol) and Dave Peek (Ada). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
