He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Greenwood and Pauline Greenwood (Berthold); and his sister Shirley Francis. He is survived by: his wife Rose Greenwood; and his sister Mary Eloise Goeckner (Paul). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
