It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tommy E. Hoeffliger of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Hoeffliger and Deloris Hoeffliger (Hirtzel); his sister Deana Rodewald; and his parents-in-law, Erma Plummer and Bill Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hoeffliger; his daughter Michelle Bendikas; his grandchildren, Ashley Bendikas and Andrew Bendikas; his siblings, Roger Hoeffliger (Carol) and Donna Solice (Rickey); and his brothers-in-law, Don Rodewald and Jack Walker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family to be directed to local veteran's organizations at a later date.
