He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Wendt (Newsome) of Effingham; his children, Rikki Himes of Neoga, Josh Wendt of Effingham, Jake Wendt (Kathy) of Altamont, Jeht Wendt (Justine) of Effingham, Joseph Wendt (Brandi) of Effingham and Natalie Wendt of Effingham; his stepson Eric Habbe of Effingham; and his siblings, Phyllis Nichols (John) of Columbus, OH, Jane Kistner (Ed) of Effingham, Lori Martin (Steve) of Effingham and Vincent Wendt (Nancy) of Watson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
