She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walk and Cecelia Walk (Kleiss); her husband Alphonse C. Mette; her granddaughter Lily Haarmann; and her sisters, Dorthea Walk, Edith Sudkamp and Emily Rentfrow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Haarmann (Larry) of Effingham and Sharon Poe (Chris) of St. Mary; her grandchildren, Chad Haarmann (Kathy), Lori Haarmann (Eric), Matt Haarmann (Jennay), Jennifer Green (Daniel) and Mitchell Poe (Aarica); and her great grandchildren, Rileigh, Madilyn, Kinsey, Charity, Allison Haarmann, Chase, Addison, Conner, Alexis and Macie Poe.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Anthony Schools.
