He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Fielitz and Doris Fielitz (Drews); and his stepfather Emil Heidorn. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah Fielitz of Effingham; his children, Jason Fielitz (Amber) of Watson and Alyson Followell (Thomas) of Effingham; his grandsons, Andrew Fielitz (Carissa) of Effingham and Colin Fielitz of Watson; his sister Linda White (Larry) of Shumway; his goddaughter Laura; and his nephew Lee.
