She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Townsend and Irene Townsend (Cothern); her husband Tony; and her siblings, Ronald Townsend (Lenora), Sam "Duke" Townsend, Lola Arnold and Rosalie Warner (Gene).
She is survived by: her children, Bill Dust (Debbie) of Edwardsville, Rose Pavano (Gerardo) of Effingham, Don Dust of Effingham, Kathi Dust-See of Centralia and Star Slane (Mike) of Effingham; her grandchildren, Anthony Dust IV (Maggie), Elizabeth Pruemer (Trevor), Jenna Walls (Tyler), Jillian Miller (Cory), Blake Dust, Heather Macke (Logan), John See and Isaac See; her brothers, Walt Townsend (Jan) and Tom Townsend (Janet); and her siblings-in-law, Robin Townsend and Bill Arnold. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Loy Cemetery Association.
