With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan J. Ballinger of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Patton and Mary Patton (Ruholl); her grandparents, Clarence, Lucille Ruholl (Busse), Horace and Pauline Patton; her parents-in-law, Gene and Ruby Ballinger; her uncle Peter Ruholl; and her cousin Bobby Leavitt.
She is survived by: her husband Todd Ballinger of Effingham; her children, Ross Ruholl (Krissy), Chatman Ruholl (Sarah), Trystan Fuesting, Ashley Smith and Bianca Cane (Jake); and her siblings, Paula Lohman and James Patton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 nieces and 9 nephews; 3 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews; 6 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; 4 step-sons; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
