He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bahrns and Clara Bahrns (Becker); his parents-in-law, Bert and Addie McGuire; and his brother Larry Engel.
He is survived by: his spouse Alyene McGuire; his children, Brent, Blake Bahrns (Laura) and Kristen Pryor (Jeff); his grandchildren, Evan of Effingham, Kylie Pryor of Effingham and Colton Bahrns of Effingham; his brother Howard "Butch" Bahrns (Marty) of Effingham; and his siblings-in-law, Alicia Engel and Teed McGuire (Jerri).
Memorial donations may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church in Effingham.
