It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Deibel of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Deibel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Meinhart and Elizabeth Meinhart (Bierman); her husband Edward J. Deibel; her son Richard; her siblings, Rozella Einhorn Laley, Mildred "Tibby" Buehnerkemper and Earl Meinhart; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Deibel, Ruth Meinhart, Louis Einhorn, Carl Laley, Clair "Tipper" Buehnerkemper, John Deibel and Gerald Deibel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Tegeler (Charles) of Effingham and Julia Hayes (Brian) of Effingham; her daughter-in-law Sonja Deibel of Effingham; her grandchildren, Eric Deibel (Makenzie Mauriello), Sara Deibel, Katie Tegeler, Drew Tegeler, Austin Hayes and Carter Hayes; and her brother Louis Meinhart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Sacred Heart School or Sacred Heart Church.
