It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Myers of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Niccum and Gladys Niccum (Decker); her husband David L. Myers; and her sisters, Marian, Marjorie and Mary Lou.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Birkey (Dennis) of Dewey and Richard of Effingham; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy, Erin and Joshua. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
