Ruby Irene Tabor Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Irene Tabor of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon A. Ballinger and Rose Mae Ballinger (Holley); her former husband Bryon D. Robison; her husband Clarence Leroy Tabor; her son-in-law Ronald J. Apke; her siblings, Wanda "Pork" West (Clifford), Judy "Sis" Traub, Donald Ballinger and Robert Lee Ballinger Sr.; her sister-in-law Carol Ballinger; and her friend Eldon Ooton.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Pals of Effingham, Debra Apke of Effingham and Mike Tabor (Diane) of Newburgh, IN; her grandchildren, Tammy Winters (Mark) of Augusta, IL, Heather Antrim (Justin) of Teutopolis, Todd Apke (Cheryl) of Effingham, Heidi Goldstein (Ron) of Teutopolis, Derek Tabor (Celeste) of Evansville, IN and Brett Tabor (Kelly Jansen) of St. Louis, MO; her great grandchildren, Cody Myers, Austin Myers (Billie), Brayden Winters, Brock Winters, Levi Winters, Trenton Hoelscher, Zach Apke, Jordan Voris, Bailey Voris, Bryce Batchlor and Madison Goldstein of Tate; her great great grandchild Colson Hoelscher; her brother Bill "Pete" Ballinger; and her siblings-in-law, Wendell Traub and Peggy Ballinger.
