With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosanna Schallert of Effingham, Illinois, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosanna Schallert to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Boos and Emma Boos (Giffin); her husband Bernard J. Schallert; her daughter Sue Ann Whitlock; and her siblings, Geraldine "Jeri" Huffman, Virginia Eftink, Lawrence and Raymond Boos.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Schallert (Melinda Means), Steven Schallert (Kathy), Bernard "Benny" Schallert Jr. (Grupe) and Katie Hetrick (James). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church in Effingham.
