He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Laue and Mildred Laue (Owens); his wife Mary Carolyn Wiedman; his children, Jeremy Laue and Kelly Laue; and his siblings, James Laue and Carolyn Mick.
He is survived by: his son Michael Laue of Decatur; his grandchildren, Ben Laue, Melanie Laue and Kimberly Childress (Ryan); his stepdaughter Anastasia Fears of Worden; his sisters, Judith Hansen (George) of Glen Ellyn and Gayle Robbins of Shumway; and his sister-in-law Donna Laue of Alabama. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
