He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Spence and Geneva Spence (Sheppard); his son Roger Spence; and his siblings, Chuck, Kenny, Phil, Bob, Richard Spence and Esther Iseminger.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Spence (Melanie) of Wayne City, IL, Ryan Spence, Rodney Spence, Vicky Adams (Jeff), Brandi Spence and Rebecca Spence; and his siblings, Jerry Spence (Sandra) of Bloomington, Larry Spence of Bloomington, Beulah Spence of Bloomington and Mary Anderson of Bloomington. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
