We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2020, at the age of 86, Rita C. Mahon of Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Riemann and Mary M. Riemann (Luchtefeld); her husband James M. Mahon; her sisters, Marcella Bourgeois (Jim) of Effingham and Anna Marie Lidy (Jim) of Island Grove; and her brother-in-law Sam Rickelman.
She is survived by: her children, David Mahon (Sherri) of Effingham, Tim Mahon of Effingham and Margie Willenborg (Dan) of Effingham; her grandchildren, Dr. Scott Mahon (Dani) of Corvallis, OR, Dr. Steven Mahon (Amy) of Indianapolis, IN, Stacia Chaplin (Joel) of Maryville, TN, Matthew Willenborg (Abby) of Colorado Springs, CO, Brett of Effingham, Ryan Willenborg of Effingham and Ally Mahon of Clarksville, TN; her stepgrandson Myles Baker of Nashville, TN; her great grandchildren, Levi, Emmalyn Chaplin and Scarlett Willenborg; and her sister-in-law Pat Rickelman of Effingham.
