He is survived by: his mother Patsy Thompson (Holley); his pets, Tulah and Bleu; his wife Nancy Warner of Effingham; his children, Josh Thompson (Kari) and Kim Buening (John); his siblings, Stan Thompson (Paula), Tina Carroll (Rennie), Sharon Vonderheide (Tracy) and Karla Gleason (Rich); and his grandchildren, Bennet, Henry, Mason Thompson, Wil, Jack, Faith and Blake Buening.
